Service Offerings
Teen Straight Talk - SSC is dedicated to reaching out to our teens through various programs and service offerings. We build support, provide encouragement and educate our youth in the most excellent way to obtain 100% protection from the consequences of high risk behavior.
Read below to discover the activities and services that Teen Straight Talk - SSC can provide.
Using PowerPoint, video, and interactive exercises, trained coordinators provide participants with customized instruction based upon biblical principles and accurate medical information for ages eleven years old and older.
Teen Straight Talk is dedicated to promoting total abstinence as the accepted standard for unmarried teens and adults. The message of abstinence emphasizes avoiding any attitude or high-risk behavior that will harm you or anyone else. Truth, choice, consequences and commitment are topics discussed in each presentation. The worth and value of each individual is a key component. While TST adheres to the wishes of non-religious groups, scripture passages are used throughout for encouragement and admonition in settings where spiritual guidance is welcomed. Evangelism is central to the goals of our organization, for, “What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses his soul?” Receiving and following Jesus Christ takes us beyond morality into a love relationship with our Creator that fosters godly living, rather than self-gratifiction.
The “Building Blocks” curriculum is suitable for elementary school level, ages six to ten. The “TST Standard” presentation can be modified to meet the needs of older audiences. Adult audiences are especially helped by the “TRACC” seminar. TRACC stands for Truth Redemption Abstinence Choices Consequences.
The host organization sets the time limit for seminars, particularly for the school setting. However, a minimum of two hours is the most effective and half or full-day seminars provide the greatest impact.
Fees are discussed at the time of scheduling. Back to top

Medical slides are included in presentations for ages thirteen years of age and over. It is the responsibility of the host organization to secure parental consent for viewing this portion of the curriculum. Youth under the age of thirteen are required to have parents present or produce parental consent.
These slides clearly illustrate the damaging effects that sexually transmitted diseases have upon the body and why condoms cannot protect from these diseases. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention states that, “…no protective method is 100 percent effective, and condom use cannot guarantee absolute protection against any STD. God created male and female with a command to replenish the earth for the purpose of raising up a righteous seed, a people who would love the Lord and love one another in demonstration of His presence in their lives. God instituted the marriage covenant. In order to fulfill the command to be fruitful and increase, Adam knew (had sex) with Eve, she became pregnant and Cain was born.
Because of the disobedience of Adam and Eve, corruption and perversion touched every aspect of life, including human sexuality. Innocence and purity were lost while the sin of sexual immorality became another temptation for mankind.
Below are a sample of scriptures relating to God’s plan for love and sex.
Genesis 1:27, 28 God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number;…
Genesis 4:1 Adam lay with his wife Eve, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Cain.
Solomon 4:12 You are a garden locked up my sister, my bride; you are a spring enclosed, a sealed fountain.
Romans 1:27 And the men, instead of having normal sexual relationships with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men and, as a result, suffered within themselves the penalty they so richly deserved.
1 Corinthians 6:9 Don't you know that those who do wrong will have no share in the Kingdom of God? Don't fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, who are idol worshipers, adulterers, male prostitutes, homosexuals, thieves, greedy, drunkards, or swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
1 Corinthians 6:18 Run away from sexual sin! No other sin so clearly affects the body as this one does. For sexual immorality is a sin against your own body.
1 Corinthians 7:3 The husband should not deprive his wife of sexual intimacy, which is her right as a married woman, nor should the wife deprive her husband.
Hebrews 13:4 Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all sexually immoral. Back to top
