A little misunderstanding, or the calm before the storm?
The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office handled 1,073 domestic violence and dispute cases in 2007, about 1,030 last year and 563 so far this year. In the past two years, fewer than one in five resulted in no arrest warrant or citation being issued.
